Hi my name is Nicole Morris!
“I started mobile dog grooming because I wanted to be able to make pets feel happy, comfortable and make them look their absolute best! “
Nicole Morris
When I first started grooming I loved building relationships with all of the dogs and their parents that I worked with. But, over time I came to realize that I was not able to build the relationships that I had cherished so much. Working in the salon became more like working on an assembly line, to get one dog out right after the other, which didn’t leave much time to build those relationships with everyone, nor let the dog be able to enjoy their grooming experience. I began to forget why I loved dog grooming so much.
I started Happy Tails In-Home Mobile Grooming service for one purpose, and that is to make the dogs as comfortable as possible, which is why I started dog grooming in the first place. Being able to go right into the dog’s house is far less stressful on them. I am able to take my time, and build those relationships once again. It truly melts my heart when I go into a dog’s home, and they are ecstatic to see me. Watching dogs and cats that were terrified to even be at the salon let alone get groomed, find trust in me, and become more confident in themselves while being groomed in the comfort of their home has been so rewarding for me. Or when i’m working on older dogs who cannot see nor hear anymore don’t scream and panic, because of being in a new environment reassures me that I am doing the right thing for these pets. I have seen that going into the dog’s house is all around a better experience for them.
In-home mobile dog grooming is where a professional groomer comes to your home and grooms your pet in the comfort, and safety of its own home. Many mobile dog groomers set up shop in a van or bus. Whereas I bring portable equipment into your home in an area of your choice. There is no need to worry about cleaning up the mess either. I do my absolute best to make it look as if i was never there.
This is a luxury service that is dedicated to make your life easier and your dog’s life less stressful. We are perfect for dogs that can no longer tolerate the stressful events of going to the grooming salon or riding a long distance to get to the dog groomer. Or for the busy family that struggles to find the time to work in bringing their pet to the dog groomers with their hectic schedule. Its dog grooming made simple and it takes the stress out of the whole dog grooming process.
Getting to know me…
Yes, I do have 4 dogs of my own, plus 2 horses, a cat, many chickens and 2 roosters! Did I mention I’m a loving mom of 2 toddler boys, and an amazing wife! Yes, I have my hands full all of the time, but I still love my customers and knowing that I’m helping a family and their pet in need.

Just a few more things…
Mobile Dog Grooming
Since I travel to your home, please have a designated place of choice for me to set up my table, and have enough clearance around me to perform such services. Make sure it is some place you won’t mind getting a few hairs here or there on. I clean up after so don’t worry. I’m not picky, but I want your pet to be comfortable too.
Dog & Cat Nail Clipping
Some dogs require their nails to be clipped sooner than every 4-6 weeks due to rapid nail growth. I can perform this service as a stand alone request for both dogs and cats. I can get you scheduled in between grooming appointments to avoid any painful overgrowth.
Cat Grooming
Cat nail trimming can be requested as a stand alone service. At this time I have only a few senior cats that get matted and require additional grooming. I do favor grooming dogs due to the demand. However, I will take on a cat if my schedule allows it, and the cat is in dire need. Feel free to check with me.
Dog Ear Plucking
Some dogs grow hair out of their ears as well and this is something that can get groomed as well. Please request this service in advance. Same thing for anal gland extraction. Please let me know if there is anything of concern or out of the ordinary, prior to my visit.
Dog Teeth Brushing
At this time, I do not perform teeth brushing. I believe that should be a daily duty of the dog mom or dad. Brushing the dog’s teeth once every 4-6 weeks really isn’t going to make a huge difference. Limit human food intake, and stick to a healthy diet, and practice regular brushing if this is of concern to you.
Safety First
I do specialize in difficult or aggressive dogs. If your dog has a history of this type of behavior, please know there are safety measures I will expect from you, prior to my visit to your home. Please remember that the liability will be on you, and to have your animal under control at the time of my arrival.
Place the dog in a secure area away from the entrance I will be entering. For example, a separate bedroom with the door closed. Another option is to have the dog in a crate, or kennel. I will introduce myself to your pet in this controlled environment.
